50 Ohm TNC Crimp Connector
Key Features and Benefits
- VSWR of 1.1 or less up to 2 GHz, 1.2 or less up to 4 GHz.
- Canare crimp design for quick and reliable installation.
Voltage Standing-Wave Ratio (VSWR) and Return Loss
Using a termination resistance that does not match the characteristic impedance of a coaxial cable leads to reflected waves, causing interference and fluctuating voltage levels. The VSWR indicates how well the termination matches the impedance, while return loss measures the size of the reflected wave compared to the traveling wave.

VSWR to Return Loss Conversion
- VSWR 2: Return Loss 9.54 dB
- VSWR 1.5: Return Loss 13.98 dB
- VSWR 1.2: Return Loss 20.83 dB
- VSWR 1.1: Return Loss 26.44 dB
- VSWR 1.05: Return Loss 32.26 dB
- VSWR 1.02: Return Loss 40.09 dB
- VSWR 1.01: Return Loss 46.06 dB
