Laowa 105mm f/2,0 (t3,2) STF for Sony E
The Laowa 105mm f/2 (T3.2) STF lens is a very sharp Drawing portrait lens with beautiful bokeh. Here STF stands for Smooth Trans Focus. In addition to the panel with 14 lamellae, which provides for a circular aperture, the lens has a second aperture member with 8 fins. This extraordinary optical design causes the interfering diffraction rings disappear to the pixels. Characterized soft outgoing picture elements are formed in the uncertainty region of the lens. On a separate ring, this natural-looking beautiful and diffuse blur (bokeh) can separate from the aperture setting can be varied. The transition from the sharpness in the background blur is so harmonious. The larger the aperture, the stronger this effect is.
The high-quality metal housing houses 11 elements in 8 groups of 1 HFR (high refractive index) element 3 LD (low-scattering) elements and APD 1 (apodization) element. This optical design results in photos with extremely high sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration. The iris and focus adjustment is manual.
