Description
The Laowa 15 mm f/2.0 Zero-D is the world’s brightest 15 mm focal length rectal lens developed for use with Sony E cameras.
Its high brightness combined with a wide angle of view (110°) makes the lens perform brilliantly in many fields of photography, especially landscape, travel or astrophotography. The extremely compact design is appreciated by reportage enthusiasts and the infinitely variable aperture setting is ideal for filming. Also noteworthy is the lens’ short minimum focusing distance of just 15 cm.
The optical construction of the lens consists of twelve elements arranged in nine groups. Three low dispersion lenses and two aspherical glass elements ensure top image quality, edge-to-edge, even at wide-open apertures. Unlike competing wide-angle lenses, the front lens of the Laowy 15 mm f/2.0 allows the fitting of standard photographic filters (72 mm in diameter). This feature is sure to be appreciated by all landscape and architectural enthusiasts.
