Description
The Laowa 15 mm f/2.0 Zero-D is the world’s brightest 15 mm focal length rectal lens developed for use with Nikon Z cameras.
Universal 15
High brightness combined with a wide angle of view (110°) make the lens perform well in many fields of photography, especially landscape, travel or astrophotography. The extremely compact design is appreciated by reportage enthusiasts, and the infinitely variable aperture setting proves its worth when shooting video. Also noteworthy is the lens’ short minimum focusing distance of just 15 cm.
Construction perfectionism
The optical construction of the lens consists of twelve elements arranged in nine groups. Three low dispersion lenses and two aspherical glasses ensure the highest image quality, edge-to-edge, even at wide-open aperture. Unlike competing wide-angle lenses, the front lens of the Laowy 15 mm f/2.0 allows the fitting of standard photographic filters (72 mm in diameter). This feature is sure to be appreciated by all landscape and architectural enthusiasts.
