Together, this setup enables you to always have the option of adding one more filter tray to the front of your stack.

Secure your filter into a filter tray, then attach it to the tray holder on the matte box, eliminating the risks involved with attempting to secure an exposed filter to the front of the matte box. The first tray locks into place with a thumbscrew on the filter tray holder, providing a stable foundation for additional stackable filter trays.
