Event Kit Overview

Are you looking for even more smoke in one hand? Then the Event Kit from SmokeGENIE is the solution for you. The case of this kit has two layers. The top layer contains all the essential items needed to get started, including three smoke machines, three fans, one Magic Remote, and extra space for spare batteries. The bottom layer is filled with maintenance items, providing everything you need in one place as a complete workstation. In the top layer, you will find all the accessories, including tubes, hoses, and adapters. The Event Kit also includes the new SmokeGENIE extension cable and the GENIE Trident, a holder that allows you to slide three smoke machines onto it, enhancing the power and duration of the smoke. With the GENIE Trident, you can place the Magic Remote, allowing you to activate three smoke machines simultaneously with the push of a button. The Magic Remote also controls the fans.

SmokeGENIE Overview

The SmokeGENIE is a compact smoke machine that produces a surprising amount of fog and low-hanging smoke with just one push of a button. On a single battery charge, the SmokeGENIE operates for up to four hours. It is ideal for creative photography, film productions, and performances where you want to create a special atmosphere by introducing smoke or fog into the room. Thanks to various attachments, you can choose to concentrate smoke in one spot or disperse it widely throughout the room. It is even possible to let the smoke linger in a specific area for more than 10 seconds, such as on a shooting table or around clothing.

Three Different SmokeGENIE Modes

You have full control over the smoke production of the SmokeGENIE, with 25 different settings for spread and amount of smoke. With the included attachments, you can determine the type of smoke or fog and its direction. Below are the three basic options:

Smoke

Classic, dense smoke similar to a cloud in the sky. It stays briefly in an area of several tens of centimeters before slowly dissipating. There are 10 different smoke levels to choose from, and at levels 1 to 3, this smoke can be generated indefinitely.

Fog

Diffuses into the room over a distance of several meters. To achieve this, slide the included mini fan onto the SmokeGENIE. It runs on a battery (18650) or via USB-C power and can be controlled via the Magic Remote. The SmokeGENIE can completely fog up an average room, creating a mystical effect. This is ideal in combination with LED spotlights, making beams of light visible in your shots. Manufacturer tests show that the smoke lasts up to twice as long as traditional fog generators.

Low Hanging Smoke

Heavy smoke that lingers for a while on a table, in a glass, or around an object. For this, you use the silicone tube and sponge (included). This unique effect offers many creative possibilities, as the smoke does not spread quickly and is heavier than air, making it appear as if the smoke is connected to a particular object. It is even possible to fill glasses and jars with smoke.

SmokeGENIE in Practice

Fog remains visible in a room for 10 to 45 minutes, depending on the degree of ventilation. In the included case, you will find three SmokeGENIE units and all accessories. You can operate the SmokeGENIE directly with the button on the back or via the supplied remote control. This remote control has four channels, allowing the user to easily control the SmokeGENIE smoke machines in various ways. Smoke production can be started and stopped from a distance of 5 meters. The remote also controls the mini fans and the SmokeGENIE smoke machines simultaneously. The remote control operates on a 23A 12V battery, which is not included. The SmokeGENIE itself runs on two 18650 type batteries (with flat head), which are also not included. If you use rechargeable 18650 batteries, you can charge them through the SmokeGENIE's USB-C port, even while in use. Always place the plastic heat shield around the capsule and at least one tube on the SmokeGENIE before use, as the capsule and output can become hot. Included are three tubes of 5 and 10 cm and three flexible tubes of 30 cm. Additionally, you will find three corner pieces in the case to direct the smoke in a specific direction. To use the SmokeGENIE in practice, follow these steps:

1. Fill one of the transparent capsules with liquid. There is an opening at the top for this, behind the rubber cap. The liquid is supplied in a 120 ml vial, enough for four hours of non-stop smoke production on setting 3. Vials and capsules are also available separately.
2. Screw the capsule onto the SmokeGENIE (threaded connection).
3. Insert two 18650 batteries into the SmokeGENIE (not included).
4. Press the button on the front three times. The SmokeGENIE is almost immediately ready for use, allowing you to produce smoke immediately using the button on the back or the supplied remote control.

Application of SmokeGENIE

If you are a creative person who enjoys using smoke or fog, the SmokeGENIE is ideal. It is perfect for film shoots, for example, to release smoke under the hood or from the kitchen. Additionally, the SmokeGENIE is great for use in theaters to produce smoke locally. The SmokeGENIE is immediately ready to use, lightweight, operates at a distance of five meters with the remote control (433MHz), and works for hours in standby, producing instant and long-lasting smoke when you press the button. Unlike traditional smoke machines, the SmokeGENIE does not produce unwanted "puffs" of smoke in standby.

Technical Specifications of SmokeGENIE

The SmokeGENIE comes with six capsules for smoke liquid, which last at least 100 hours as a consumable and are available separately. You fill the capsule of the SmokeGENIE with special SmokeGENIE liquid, made of food-safe vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol. In the event kit, you will find 2 x 120ml of this liquid. It is safe to inhale the smoke in indoor spaces for both humans and animals. Each capsule holds 9ml of SmokeGENIE liquid, enough for an average of 15 minutes of smoke production. Liquid from other manufacturers is not suitable. The capsule of the SmokeGENIE gets warm during use. When the plastic cap of the capsule turns from purple to orange, the capsule is too hot to touch. The capsule's casing is made of heat, shock, and burst-resistant polymer material.

At the bottom, there is a 1/4" screw thread, allowing you to attach the SmokeGENIE to a tripod, clamp, or other tools. The SmokeGENIE smoke machines in the event kit have a special underside that allows you to slide all three SmokeGENIE smoke machines onto the GENIE Trident. The SmokeGENIE comes very complete, including a case, GENIE Trident, capsules, attachments, liquid, remote control, and fans. You just need to arrange the batteries.
