The top line in polarizing filters
The polarization filter is the most commonly used filter in landscape, architectural and product photography. This filter improves the photos directly in the field, something that cannot be achieved in post-processing.
A Circular Polarization Filter (CPL) removes reflections from non-metallic surfaces and therefore also improves the colors. The (Japanese) polarization coating also provides improved contrast (for example in a blue sky with clouds) and nicer colors with better saturation.
Sharper photos with more detail
Benro's polarizing filters are made from the best glass from the German glass manufacturer Schott. This glass is polished extremely flat with HD Optical technology. As a result, there is less refraction of the light and this CPL gives the sharpest result with maximum resolution and prevents the occurrence of 'ghosting'.
Prevent reflections and chromatic aberration
The multi-layer ULCA coating prevents unwanted reflections (flare), even in backlit situations. This coating (Ultra Low Chromatic Aberration) also ensures that no additional color deviations occur in the image.
In addition, the edges of the glass have a black coating to prevent reflections even better.
Easy to keep clean
The special WMC Nano coating creates an extra smooth surface, making it more difficult for dirt and moisture to adhere to the surface. This keeps the filter clean longer and makes it easier to wipe clean.
Very thin brass ring
The rings of the polarizing filter are CNC-milled from brass and have a matte black coating. These rings are more resistant to external impact and are less likely to bend.
The two rings are extremely thin (smart), making the filter more compact and vignetting is less likely to occur when used on a wide-angle lens.
Durable scratch-resistant glass
The HD glass of this filter has a high scratch resistance, which extends its lifespan.
