The Samyang 14mm T3.1 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II lens is carefully designed for creating professional films and videos. You can change the aperture smoothly and quietly with the removable aperture ring. Distance scales and "T" values are marked on both sides of the lens for easy handling

The design of this lens consists of 14 elements in 10 groups including 3 high refractive index glasses, 2 extra low light scattering glasses, 1 aspherical element and 1 hybrid aspherical element. The aspherical and hybrid aspherical elements minimize color aberration to achieve exceptional image quality with high contrast to the center and corner of the frame even when the aperture is fully open.Low light scattering (ED) and high refractive index (HR) lenses effectively control light scattering, along with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC), which optimizes light transmission, to reduce unwanted flashes and shadows
