Proprietary Rear Filtration System
The Athena Prime Lenses include a Drop-In filter mount for creative control. Different mount options have specific filter configurations for optimal performance.
- Sony FX9 camera cannot use E-Mount with Drop-In filters.
- Using the correct filters is crucial for achieving infinity focus and clear images.
NiSi also offers weather-sealed Drop-In filters for added protection.
Convenient Design Features
All NiSi Athena Prime lenses have consistent weight and filter thread sizes, allowing seamless transitions between lenses. They feature matched aperture and focus rings, 300-degree focus rotation, and fluorescent focus scales for precise focusing.
Compatible with standard follow focus and matte box systems, the lenses also offer the option of using a 77mm close-up lens for macro effects (sold separately).
