Description
The Voigtlander Macro APO Lanthar 65 mm f/2.0 is a bright, manual lens aimed at lovers of macro photography and portrait photography. The APO Lanthar 65mm is equipped with an E-mount for mounting on Sony cameras.
The use of the latest manufacturing methods allowed Cosina engineers to improve the classic design of the lens and adapt it to work with modern digital camera sensors. The use of an aspherical lens has almost completely eliminated the phenomenon of chromatic aberration, making images obtained with the Voigtlander APO Lanthar 65mm incredibly sharp and rich in detail.
The lens provides a reproduction scale of 1:2 and sharpening from 31 cm to infinity, making it ideal for both macro and landscape photography. The standard focal length of 65mm and the high brightness of the APO Lanthar finds ideal use in portrait photography, allowing the subject of the photo to be separated. Thanks to the use of a ten-blade aperture, the achieved background blur effect is very smooth and pleasing to the eye.
The Voigtlander Macro APO Lanthar 65mm is equipped with a processor providing support for the five-axis image stabilisation available on Sony cameras.
The lens allows mounting of filters with a diameter of 67 mm or the included sunshade. The metal construction guarantees long use and the use of the best components and high quality standards ensures smooth ring operation.
