5-Axis Dual I.S. 2

5-axis dual I.S. 2 provides more effective blur minimization. The new gyro sensor controls the distribution of objective I.S. and case I.S. compensation and achieves maximum 5-stop compensation effects. It is very effective for wide-angle and telephoto lens settings. An electronic drive in the locking unit and the front robust magnesium alloy frame reduce the locking vibrations by approximately 90% compared to the LUMIX G7. Based on the CIPA standard, the wide angle/tilt angle is f 50-140 mm (equivalent to f 100-280 mm for 35 mm camera) when H-FS14140 is used.

Splash Water/Dust Protection

The LUMIX G81 has a rugged design with splash water and dust protection to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. A high-resolution OLED Live View Finder with 2,360,000 pixels offers 1.48x/0.74x magnification (equivalent to 35mm cameras) for very good picture details. The eye point is about 20 mm, making it well suited for wearers of glasses due to this high visibility. To further enhance ease-of-use, the LUMIX G81 is equipped with an ergonomic, stable, one-handed grip.
