DeckLink IP 100G Overview

DeckLink IP 100G is a PCIe Gen 4 card designed for capturing and playing back up to 8 channels of Ultra HD video in SMPTE-2110 IP-based broadcast systems. It features two QSFP28 fiber optic 100G Ethernet ports for full redundancy or connection to separate switches, with availability expected in July 2025.

This card includes built-in cooling and supports GPUDirect RDMA for efficient memory transfer between the DeckLink and GPU, significantly reducing latency. It records and plays back high-quality formats like Apple ProRes and uncompressed 10-bit video, supporting all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p120.

The IP10 open standard codec minimizes bitrate for TV standards 2160p59.94 and 2160p60 with only 8 samples of latency. This compact codec uses minimal FPGA resources, keeping SMPTE-2110 IP video products affordable.

Compatibility and Software

DeckLink IP 100G is compatible with popular video software, making it ideal for DaVinci Resolve for editing and color correction in SMPTE-2110 systems. It supports simultaneous recording and playback, allowing for live grading. It also works with Final Cut Pro, Media Composer, Premiere Pro, and more.
