Description

The Fotopro P-4A telescopic central column was created for the versatile Fotopro P-4 tripod, but you’ll successfully use it to expand the capabilities of many other photographic or film tools equipped with 3/8″ and 1/4″ threads. Thanks to its foldable design and the use of carbon fibre, you can easily fit it in your backpack or bag without feeling its weight. Make your tripod even longer or use the column as a “selfie stick”. A carry pouch with a drawstring is also included.

Carbon fibre provides durability and ultralightness. When you throw the column in your backpack together with your camera or film equipment, you won’t feel its weight at all! The maximum load capacity of the column is 15 kilograms and its weight is only 142 grams!

Universal application

The Fotopro P-4A telescopic central column was created for the versatile Fotopro P-4 tripod, but nothing prevents you from using it in combination with other film or photographic equipment. At the bottom of the column you will find a 3/8″ female thread. On the other side, a special double-sided screw has been used. You need only a few seconds to adapt the column to heads or cameras equipped with a thread of 3/8″ or 1/4″ diameter!

Height adjustment

The height of the Fotopro P-4A telescopic column, can be adjusted from 19.5 to 32.4 cm. With just a slight turn, you can set the desired length in seconds and effectively lock it in place with the convenient T-LOCK clamp. The ergonomic design of the column also allows it to be fully unfolded, which will certainly be appreciated by travellers who need to regularly clean their equipment after extreme escapades.

Secure grip

The foam grip will come in handy especially when you use the column as a “selfie stick”. The soft material will minimise the risk of the telescopic design slipping from your hand. The pleasant to the touch foam also provides excellent thermal insulation. Thus, the ergonomic grip will make it easier to mount on a tripod and use the column during frosty days.
