The Fiber Node System One for 4 PTZ Cameras from FieldCast enables you to monitor and control up to four PTZ cameras using fiber optic cables. The system includes several components: the Fiber Base One, the Fiber Node One, four PTZ Monk fiber converters, four drums of 2Core SM 328' hybrid fiber optic cable, and a 328' SMPTE connector cable.
The Fiber Base One, which occupies a space of 1 rack unit (1 RU), serves as the main hub. It connects to the Fiber Node One using the provided SMPTE connector cable, allowing for control and power transmission. Additionally, the Fiber Base One receives video signals from the PTZ cameras and sends them out through four dual 3G-SDI outputs.
The Fiber Node One acts as an interface for the PTZ cameras. It has four hybrid fiber inputs that connect to the PTZ Monk fiber converters using the hybrid fiber cable included in the system. These connections provide control, power, and monitoring capabilities for up to four 3G-SDI PTZ cameras. Similar to the Fiber Base One, the Fiber Node One also offers four dual 3G-SDI outputs for camera signal monitoring and switching. Both the Fiber Base One and the Fiber Node One are equipped with a LAN Ethernet port and a 4-pin XLR power port, which can be used with an optional IP controller.
In summary, the Fiber Node System One simplifies the monitoring and control of multiple PTZ cameras by utilizing fiber optic technology. It offers efficient signal transmission, power distribution, and remote control capabilities for up to four 3G-SDI PTZ cameras.
