StudioKing Flexible Table Tripod FTR-18 with Smartphone Adapter

The FTR-18 from StudioKing is a flexible table stand that you can use with your camera or smartphone, for example. The three rubber feet are easy to bend in any position and provide a reliable, robust base for your camera or smartphone. In contrast to other flexible tripods on the market, the legs of the FTR-18 are extra flexible and can be literally bend in any shape. You only pay a fraction of the price of conventional flex tripods.

When developing the FTR-18, StudioKing chose a material that is very easy to bend and at the same time always retains its last shape. This way you can work carefree and you have more time to make a good picture. Cameras up to three kilos are suitable, so even the most advanced DSLR cameras can now be used anywhere.

FTR-18 in practice

When you go out with your camera it can be quite a hassle to bring a full tripod. A table tripod is workable in some cases, but what if there is no flat surface on location? The FTR-18 is the solution. You simply clamp it around a tree, place it on a rock or wind its legs around a fence. The legs are fully equipped with a rough structure, for an even better grip. The spreading position of the legs can be adjusted in two positions by turning the red ring. On top of the FTR-18 is a 1/4 inch male thread, which makes the tripod suitable for almost every camera. The optional accessories tab include an adapter nipple with 3/8 inch thread. When the legs are collapsed the total height is 33 cm (without smartphone adapter). The FTR-18 has a weight of only 309 grams.

Smartphone adapter

With the included smartphone adapter, you can easily use the FTR-18 with your smartphone.
The adapter has a thread in two places, so it can be mounted vertically or horizontally to the ball head of the tripod. Then you can clamp your smartphone into the flexible holder.
The adapter is suitable for all common smartphones up to a maximum width of 85mm.

Tiltable ball head

On top of the tripod is a tilting ball head with a 1/4" male thread, which can be placed in almost any position. Thanks to the rubber protective layer under the thread, your camera is firmly attached to the ball head and your camera will not be damaged. There is even a bubble level on the ball head so you can easily take the best pictures from any position. The ball head is equipped with a quick release plate, allowing you to quickly remove your camera from the ball head to move freely. After this it can easily be clicked back again.

Application StudioKing FTR-18

For anyone who makes videos on location regularly, the FTR-18 is a must-have. The flexible usage makes it possible to make stable shots in almost every situation. Consider, for example, filming a vlog. Your DSLR and compact camera can be connected directly to the FTR-18. For smartphones, a special adapter is included. The exchangeable ball head has a special notch, allowing you to make vertical images in addition to horizontal ones.
