Rycote has been manufacturing modular windbreaks, called Zeppelins, since 1969. They are the best way to suppress disturbing wind noise when filming outdoors. Indoors, only a flexible handle or pole mount can be used, while outdoors a basic wind protection - a shell - is used; in stronger winds, a fur is put on top of the shell. This combination guarantees the highest possible protection against disturbing wind noise, generated by air movement around the microphone inlets.
Modular wind protectors are available in various sizes, SET 4 is designed for Sennheiser MKH 60/416 and Neumann KMR 81i microphones.
This set is also manufactured with an XLR-5F microphone connector and has the code 86068!
