Yongnuo YN685 II is an upgraded version of the highly acclaimed YN685 Speedlight. The presented model was created especially for Canon cameras. The flash is characterised by short charging time between flashes, high power and efficient power supply. The built-in receiver allows full compatibility with Yongnuo TTL wireless triggering system and many other Yongnuo devices. The flash also features a USB port for easy software updates.

Short shutter speed synchronization
The Yongnuo YN685 II flash created for Canon cameras is equipped with a high speed sync (HSS) mode up to 1/8000 sec. This feature is great for use where lighting conditions change frequently.
To use HSS, it is a good idea to make sure your camera and trigger also support it.
Fast operation
Convenient operation of the Yongnuo YN685 II flash is provided by a large backlit LCD screen. On it you will find all the necessary information, allowing you to quickly choose the optimal flash settings. The various parameters of the device can be configured using an ergonomic knob and function buttons. For even greater ease of use, you can take advantage of sound signals informing you when the flash is ready to fire again.
Universal power supply
The flash is powered by four AA-type alkaline or rechargeable batteries, which are popular sticks. So even if you forget to charge the cells or take them from home to the set, a visit to a nearby kiosk or supermarket is enough to quickly provide yourself with a power source.
Fast torch charging
The time it takes to recharge the torch, after a full power flash, is only 2 seconds. When using batteries of poorer quality or those that are already slightly discharged, this time may increase to 3-4 seconds. This still allows you to take fast pictures with the flash. So you can be sure you won’t miss any important moments.
Connecting an external Battery Pack can reduce the torch charging time.
Electronic zoom
The Yongnuo YN685 II flash will automatically select the burner zoom depending on the focal length of the lens attached to your camera. If necessary, you can also switch to manual mode and adjust the settings yourself from 20 to 200mm. This allows you to perfectly match the angle of the flash to the focal length of your lens or try experiments to create a vignette effect on your photos with light.
Convenient software upgrade
Yongnuo YN685 II flash is equipped with a micro USB port, so you can conveniently update its software. The manufacturer cares about the development of its products and ensures compatibility with new camera models. All the latest system updates can be downloaded from the official Yongnuo website
