Enhanced Operation Efficiency
Native vertical shooting and an expanded accessory ecosystem make the DJI RS 4 Pro a powerful tool for mirrorless camera shooters. The gimbal weighs around 2.74 lb and supports a load capacity of 10 lb, ideal for compact camera builds. Teflon-coated axes reduce friction for smoother balancing and operation. Intuitive features include a fine-tuning knob, auto-locking OLED screen, and RSA communication port for expanded accessories.
Second-Generation Quick Release Plate Design
With the dual-layered quick release plates of its predecessor, the RS 4 makes mounting and balancing your camera easy. The horizontal plate allows for faster transitions to native vertical shooting. A fine-tuning knob adjusts the tilt axis for precise adjustments. The upper plate features placement guides for secure camera mounting.

Second-Generation Automated Axis Locks
When powered off, press and hold the power button to unlock the three axes, allowing for quick setup in just two seconds. Press the power button once to lock the axes and enter sleep mode, improving efficiency during storage. Smaller gaps when locked reduce gimbal shake.
RSA Communication Port
The RSA communication port integrates Ronin series accessories into the gimbal configuration. Add Ronin-specific or third-party accessories with control capabilities for different shooting configurations. The DJI RS SDK protocol enables third-party manufacturers to create customized functions for the RS 4.
Wireless Shutter Control
The RS 4 Pro supports wireless shutter control with Dual-Mode Bluetooth, saving time and effort. Control video and photo shooting by pressing the record button on the stabilizer. Paired cameras can automatically reconnect, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.
Updated ActiveTrack Pro
The next-generation ActiveTrack Pro offers accurate tracking without the need for additional equipment. Monitor or frame the subject on the OLED touchscreen. The optional LiDAR unit projects 76,800 ranging points within a 20-meter area.
Integrated Controls
- Switch between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes with the gimbal mode switch. Customize FPV mode to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom. Features include motion-lapse, track, and panorama.
- The trigger button can be customized to FPV mode, causing the axes to follow the grip's movement when held down.
Car Mount Mode
The car mount mode optimizes stabilization for vehicle vibrations and wind resistance, ensuring steady capture.
Fourth-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
The RS 4 Pro features a next-generation stabilization algorithm for enhanced stability, managing vertical shooting, fast movements, and low-angle shots. Motor torque on all three axes has been increased by 20 for greater power.
Auto-Locking OLED Screen
The RS 4 Pro is equipped with a fixed OLED touchscreen with an auto-lock feature to prevent accidental switching and conserve battery.
Integrated Monitoring and Control
Adjust camera exposure in the Ronin app or control the gimbal with the virtual joystick for an integrated monitoring and control experience. Use the Ronin Image Transmitter to remotely control the RS 4 Pro gimbal with a smartphone for dynamic camera movements.
Enhanced Battery and Fast Charging
The RS 4 Pro battery grip features a cartridge design for easy battery swapping and compact storage. It provides up to 13 hours of runtime and supports 18W PD fast charging with a charge time of 1.5 hours. The gimbal can be used while charging for continuous power.
