The kit does not lack a deadcat wind shield and the cables needed to connect to the mini jack on your camera, camcorder or smartphone.

Mounting an additional device

The Saramonic Vmic4 condenser microphone features a cold shoe for convenient mounting in the flash mount that crowns almost every camera. However, you don’t have to worry about losing the installation point that allows you to connect an additional accessory to the unit. There is a moulded rail on top of the microphone where you can easily mount the flash.

Recording audio often requires the quality control that headphones provide. On the Saramonic Vmic4 condenser microphone housing, there is no shortage of a 3.5mm mini jack socket to which you can easily connect them. Monitoring takes place in real time, so there are no delays or unpleasant echoes.

Multitude of functions

Ergonomic switches located on the side of the housing allow us to quickly and conveniently activate additional microphone functions to improve the quality of our recordings. If necessary, we can use a higher (+10 dB) or lower (-10 dB) input level, as well as activate a high-pass filter (200 Hz), which effectively suppresses unwanted frequencies that interfere with sound recording.

Universal power supply

The device is powered by a single AAA battery. You can find one at almost any kiosk, so when you run out of power, you can easily replace a discharged cell with a new one.
