Description
The Fotopro X-go Predator series of tripods is designed for photographers who require equipment of the highest quality, functionality and stability in difficult field or studio conditions. It is the ideal choice for those with heavier cameras or camcorders.
Functional and stable kit
The X-go Predator is a solid aluminium tripod equipped with a ball head and monopod function, and is the ‘big brother’ of Fotopro’s X-go Chameleon and X-go Gecko series tripods. The maximum working height of the tripod with the head installed is 171.8 cm. At the same time, thanks to its reverse-folding capability, the X-go Predator has a compact transport size of only 47.5 cm. The tripod has a three-stage leg tilt system, which consists of four sections. The individual sections are locked in place with a convenient to use swivel clamp system called T-Lock. The tripod’s legs are studded with spikes, onto which the supplied rubber non-slip tips can be fitted. This ensures the best grip, regardless of the ground. The X-go Predator tripod is equipped with a central column with a reverse fastening function. This solution is particularly useful for macro photography and shots from the so-called “frog perspective”. A thread on the bottom of the column allows another head or hook to be installed on it, from which additional weight can be hung to improve the stability of the tripod. A double security system protects against accidental lowering of the column. Any head with a 3/8″ or 1/4″ mounting thread can be mounted on the tripod, to change the thread you need to reposition the screw with the included spanner.
Solid ball head with a load capacity of up to 12 kg!
Tripods from the X-go Predator line are equipped with the FPH-62Q ball head with Arca Swiss standard quick-mount plate. The head has a set of three spirit levels, making it easy to level the camera, and a quick release lock to prevent accidental unplugging of equipment mounted on it. The FPH-62Q has two precise and smoothly operating knobs. One is used to lock and adjust the clamping force of the ball, while the other locks the movement of the swivel head base, which has a 360° scale applied to it to facilitate panning. The head, against accidental unscrewing from the tripod, is secured by a screw, tightened with the included spanner.
Two-in-one – monopod function
Predator is not just a tripod. It also conceals a monopod function. After unscrewing one of the legs and the central column, you get a 170 cm high monopod with a comfortable rubber grip.
Modern and unique design
Among other tripods available on the market, Predator stands out not only for its excellent build quality and functionality, but also for its attractive and original design.
Highest quality and guaranteed reliability
Thoughtful design, top quality materials and precision workmanship ensure that the product will last for years. In addition, all Fotopro tripods come with a six-year warranty! Fotopro’s X-go Predator series tripods are the perfect choice for professionals and advanced photography enthusiasts who expect the highest quality workmanship and stable support for their valuable photography equipment.
