The Samyang 16mm VDSLR is a bright wide-angle lens for cameras with an APS-C sensor. The lens is made up of 13 elements that are grouped in 11 groups. The lens has an aspherical glass area, which makes the lens lighter and more compact and ensures less chromatic aberration. The high quality multi-layer coatings give contrast and colorful images. The cinema version has a toothed focus and stepless aperture for attaching a follow focus. The aperture values and the focus scale are positioned on the side of the lens.
