De Samyang 14mm VDSLR is a bright super wide-angle lens for cameras with an APS-C sensor. The lens has excellent optical quality and resolution, and an exceptionally wide field of view of 109.5 degrees. It features Samyangs nano crystal anti-reflection coating system (NCS), which provides even lower reflection than Samyangs previous UMC coatings. The coating also improves light transmission and maximizes image contrast. The cinema version has geared focus and stepless aperture rings for attaching a follow focus. The aperture values and focus scale are positioned on the side of the lens.
