Description
Small, handy and wide-angle, it will cover up to 113° on a Super35mm sensor or 110° on a Micro 4/3 sensor. Ideal for use on small cameras or for cameras mounted on a gimbal. A lens already familiar to photographers, from now on it will also be useful for filmmakers. Thanks to the gears standard in the film industry, you can connect the follow focus mechanism, which is necessary for smooth focus tracking. The necessary filters can be attached to the lens thanks to the 55 mm thread. The optics, as in the version without gears, has excellent properties and practically eliminates the distortion effect.
Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D
The new Laowa 9mm covers sensor sizes up to Super 35mm. The minimal lens size goes hand in hand with distortion-free operation with a 113° field of view. Also very useful is the T2.9 relative aperture, which everyone will appreciate when filming in lower light conditions.

The new Laowa 9mm Cine lens works perfectly with Super 35, APS-C and MFT cameras and provides a field of view of 120° ( Super 35 sensor), 113° (APS-C) and 100° (MFT).
Film-functions-in-standard
The lens has an optimised design for film and video production, enhancing performance and providing a smoother workflow.

Compact and lightweight

Near-zero distortion
In addition to its ultra-wide-angle field of view, it also delivers exceptional image quality with best-in-class distortion control. This near-zero distortion (Zero-D) design is extremely useful when capturing architectural, aerial and interior design footage.
Bright T2.9 aperture and very short focus distance
Together with a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, the 15 elements in 10 groups optical design successfully controls spherical and chromatic aberrations to a minimum. A bright T2.9 maximum aperture is conducive to working in low-light conditions. Focusing as low as 12cm, it allows greater flexibility and control of shallow depth of field with a wider perspective.
