The Venus Optics Laowa 65mm T2.9 Cine Macro APO is the world’s first film macro lens offering a 2:1 zoom ratio, image coverage for the Super 35 format and a minimum focusing distance of just 17cm. The model presented here is compatible with cameras and camcorders equipped with the Sony E socket. The lens also offers an apochromatic (APO) system to minimise chromatic aberration and distortion. As befits equipment designed with filmmakers in mind, there is no shortage of stepless aperture and gear adjustments that are compatible with popular follow focus systems. You will also receive a sturdy transport case in the set.
