The hook is made from A-grade Nylon, featuring high peel and shear values, an extended life cycle, and an average of 55 hooks per square inch. It is formed under high temperatures to enhance elasticity and durability. The un-napped loop provides a very high life cycle with an average of 42 woofs per square inch. The EZ-Tie has been tested under temperatures ranging from +93C to -56.7C and has lasted 1,000 hours of matting without failure. The working temperature range is from 80C to -20C, with a high life cycle of over 10,000 closures. It is also washable and UV resistant to prevent discoloration.
