The minimum focus distance is 1 meter / 3.3 feet. This is a manual focus lens and there is an aperture ring. Internal Focusing - there is no magnification effect. This lens can be used with DSLR (both "full frame" and APS-C) cameras and 35mm film cameras.
The build quality is very good. The lenses are multicoated (9 lenses in 7 groups, with one aspherical lens), there are 8 blades.
