CS-LITE Light Source
The CS-LITE camera scanning light source enhances film scanning brightness like never before. When combined with the VALOI 360 camera scanning system, it offers an affordable and user-friendly digital camera scanning setup.
This device operates via USB and requires a 5 V/1.6 A power supply (commonly a phone charger) with USB-A, making it compatible with even older batteries.
CS-LITE can be used independently (placed on a table) or with the VALOI 360 adapter 104 or VALOI 360 LightAdapter for added stability and adjustable legs.
Key Features
- High Color Accuracy: CRI 95+ ensures excellent color precision.
- Brightness: EV 15+ provides sufficient lighting for dense negatives.
- Adjustable Color Temperature: Tailors to various film types, including color negatives, positives, and black and white.
- Remote Control: Features built-in remote for easy adjustments.
Lighting Modes
- Cool Light: Reduces orange mask presence in color negatives for balanced scans.
- White Light: Ideal for black and white film scanning.
- Warm Light: Best for E6 processed slide films, enhancing tones and color separation.
The CS-LITE mask allows for direct mounting of VALOI holders onto the plate, providing a compact and stabilized solution for film digitization. It minimizes light leakage, reducing unwanted reflections and maintaining uniformity throughout the scanning process.
