Kaiser glassine filing sheets are designed for the orderly and protected storage and archiving of negatives. Each sheet can hold 7 strips of 6 negatives in 35 mm format. The main advantage of glassine over acetate is the ability to allow any moisture which may find its way in to evaporate again.
This generally makes glassine sheets more suitable for archiving than acetate. In this version, the top and bottom sides are made of milky white glassine. This means that to view and handle the negatives they need to be removed.
